This is the group of us in Haiti. 7 of us (including my 2 sisters) went to help do Physicals and Home Assessments of the 30 preschoolers that Byron and Shelley Tlucek have started. Byron and Shelley have lived in Haiti for almost 5 years, and have adopted 4 Haitian children. Their ministry is Maranatha Children's Ministry. They plan to open an orphanage again in the next few months. They have a wonderful heart for Haiti, and are doing wonderful things there!
Most of the preschoolers go there free of charge. They are provided with 2 meals, 2 snacks, vitamins, songs, crafts, structured learning, free play, physical education, and a safe and loving environment. I was so blessed to have spent a week with them, and would go back in a heartbeat!
